The pathetic bounce attempts this morn can't make bulls feel good here.....1970-75 was good enough resistence for a better bounce......and we just melted thru it....couldn't even get out of it this morn

Bulls are in real trouble, if, as it appears, this total lack of buying interest continues.....% equity for funds is at all-time highs......so there is plenty of inventory to unload...

Man, does today feel like last fall (typical day) or what?

"Why buy?", says the walrus

History Professor Allan,

I was wondering how many times the Dow has "crashed" during the summer vacation months.

Can a market crash without large volume to keep the pressure headed downward?

I don't have a copy of the historical Dow chart on hand but was curious if it has happened before during June, July, or August. Seems like the big crashes (and the huge rallies) occur during the busy season. Maybe that's just an unfair generalization.

No need to reply now.
