And at what level would you consider buying your longs again ? If 1940 is not the bottom, where do you see it ?

Don't have a clue. I am not looking for an ultimate market bottom...just some point that could give us a rally that is similiar to April (maybe a little less).
So far there does not appear to be many catalysts on the horizon. Need some more positive news out of the big cap techs or even some bearish analysts like Dan Niles changing their outlook just a little bit to the positive as the market heads lower---these types may be ready to make a name for themselves.

Cisco earnings are soon but I am not holding out too much hope on this one but if there is good news, it could be big for this market.

Just need a reason for the selling of techs stocks to stop and once that happens, this market can rocket higher.
IMHO, it won't take much; the market will jump big on any signs of a recovery because there is also a large short seller base out there too.

Where do see the Naz going NEAR TERM?
