Here's a sampling of some of the more notable EPS reports today:

XOM - .65 act/.66 expected
LLL - .60/.59
LU - (.55)/(.21)
MCD - .34/.34
RSH - .21/.25

the Radio Shack details should be interesting. Needless to say though, it only takes one bad apple (LU) to spoil the whole lot.

Buffett owns 150,000 shares of MSFT according to this site's best guess... ponyexpress.net

Apparently it was a convertible MSFT issue that he first got into:

thestreet.com

Buffett recently revealed a stake in a Microsoft (MSFT:Nasdaq - news)
convertible security. That could prompt some questions about Buffett's
relationship with Bill Gates and whether his close friendship with Microsoft's
chairman will ever persuade him to invest in the New Economy.
