You don't get it. New Mexico was not lost due to Hispanics, silly. It was pothead liberals in Santa Fe and Indians.

That Hispanic vote was BEFORE Chuckie Schmuck and "Red" Leahy destroy the character and reputation of several very high-quality Hispanic judicial candidates, including one for the high Court, because they are not "mainstream" (i.e., left wing) enough for the extremely white constituents back in NY and Vermont...

The Democrats have been hell-bent on digging their own graves for any future elections that they can't steal...

Flapjack:

"and endorse the Democrats' plan to rebuild America's school systems."

What plan? Neither party is going to solve this problem from Washington. In fact Washington is one of the sources of the problem. The best chance for schools is to let the locals have more control. This means no more stupid mandates from Washington, such as you must educate everyone whether they want to come to school or not; or whether they are capable of learning anything in an academic setting.

It means having trust in local school boards and letting teachers and principals do the job.

I don't know what the budget for the Federal Department of Education is. But ask yourself this question. How many kids do they teach. I suspect their entire budget is a boondoggle and waste of money. Put money in the classroom, empower teachers, empower principals. Some of them will get it right and the rest can copy from them.

a liveable minimum wage and endorse the Democrats' plan to rebuild America's school systems.

You're not trotting out the old "liveable minimum wage" BS are you. The vast majority of minimum wage earners are kids. These aren't career jobs and people who attempt to raise a family on career minimum wage jobs should have better sense and most do. Minimum wage laws increase unemployment taking away the opportunity to gain experience and skill to allow a move up the ladder.

Over 80% of economists believe in a war on poverty but 60% think minimum wage is counter-productive.

What school plan? New lower standards? Think not, think again.

Sure, Senor Bush will promote amnesty and the Hispanics will vote against him. You make them sound stupid.
