Trade well, all.> LOL! --here is Security Traders EOD commentary <<Tuesday July 24, 2001; 7:15PM EST Any NEW setups will be posted later tonight and highlighted here. Most indices re-entered their downtrends yesterday and followed through with a BIG sell-off today. The Major Indices (INDU, OEX, SPX) are still in their larger Head & shoulder breakdowns. The TECH Indices are all in downtrends as well. The KEY TECH index to watch is the NDX, it penetrated support at 1600 and then closed just above it. Only thing to say is that if it cannot hold 1600 tomorrow, its on a CLIFF with next support at / near 1500.(evening action hints that NDX100 may be green tomorrow,based on near term oversold-max) The NDX is still in a larger Head & Shoulder continuation pattern here as well. The XTC (telecom index) had a rising wedge breakdown, see chart...knew that was coming. OSX / XOI have had their first pullbacks on their bounce off MAJOR support. Next thing to look for here is to see if higher lows appear. TYX (Bond Yield) - $$$$$ still going to bonds. DOLLAR in a rising wedge breakdown = keep watching GOLD. >> end quote
