Hey Swamp Rat, er Oracle, er....Foxx, Welcome back!gggg

I agree with the 598 part of the story, HOWEVER, the daily down trend line is at 607 today with the daily STO pointed down like a couple of snake fangs! My guess is that we meander around here for a while bumping our heads, then head south - back to the primeval swamp. RR has the bottom rail of the channel at ~ 588, maybe we go down and bounce off the rail! I dunno.

Went back to cash yesterday when we closed below the trend line, but hey, what the hell do I know?? To wit nuttin!! ggg I just remembered all the times I have tried to pull this little stunt, never been successful, got hung up in the position every time, on and on - ad nauseum. Barf! So yesterday I decided to turn over a new leaf (fig) and expose myself! gggg

I hope (HOPE) QQQ > $40 holds. Last evening it went up to around 40.30 after the close, so I have my fingers crossed. Bot some Dec 43 calls for 3.60, just trying for a little pizza money.

Good luck if you decide to cross the Delaware today.

Paul K.

>> to watch the difficulty that the academic world has in dealing with a freshman entering as a junior. The bureacracy just has a difficult time thinking out of the box

'Droids is the geek term. Also applies to functionaries such as bank tellers and security guards that are given an unusual situation. They have insufficient programming to deal.

>> RR - Really sorry I helped convince you not to buy those cube puts.

No worries, I _wanted_ to be talked out of it. I was _feeling_ _really_ frisky about that. Such states are not, in my experince, conducive to good judgement. It would have panned out this time, of coures, but that's not the point :)

BTW - I went back and looked at $NDX monthly again. I'm seeing 1175. Not tomorrow of course.

>> as I just cannot bill the owners of the ships in my Phleet based on my out-performance of a badly negative number.

That's one reason I like you, but don't forget where your clients would be had they loaded up on SPY last august at 150. Or QQQ at 100.

Sometimes I feel this 607 should be called 570. ggg

At least I find two lines crossing there when I paint some modern figure (not yet Mondrian) in my weekly chart. (Oct 99 - Apr 01 and Oct/Nov 00, Feb 01)

You're right, Berney, there is no hurry for entries. However, I could collect a few € with a long SAP-overnighter.
20.07.2001 716460 SAP AG ST O.N. EUR 155,25 EUR 15.471,00 STK -100,00
18.07.2001 716460 SAP AG ST O.N. EUR 145,84 EUR 14.620,00 STK 100,00

Today I take a VERY cautious look whether CSCO could do a pike-dive in your swamp again - we all know, that's the place where this stock feels at home for the next 12 month ggg. Be that as it may, I'm short.
SLD CSCO CISCO SYSTEMS INC 18.87 10:54:40 EST
Have entered a cover @ 18.10, but DUNNO ggg. Way tend c.

The problem is that this chart use to stick around like children on the beach and just chaos-experts can calculate when he will jump back in the slick.

BTW - today was a very fine day for shorting SI, but when I saw the spread I got chicken.

QUESTION to all!

I found a broker named "Interactive Brokers" (www.interactivebrokers.com), you can find it with SI too. Has anybody of us any knowledge about this brokerage? All I've found sounds quite TOO good - no other brokerage has this wide range of products/exchanges/ECNs, they support ALL option-exchanges, offer a very advanced trading-tool (for free!) and are extraordinary cheap! Now the question is: is there anything stinking?

Summer is back to Zeeland!
