NTAP wins in the Consolidation and Convergence and Competitive marketplace, not all prior companies will come out ahead or even exist, this is the testing phase, winnowing, and EMLX and QLGC for example as you cite are being downgraded while NTAP is being upgraded.....this is natural....natural selction and survival of the fittest and NTAP is the most fit to survive and thrive in its marketspace....as Chambers repeated the quote only the quick and nimble will win everytime and NTAP is quick and nimble.
