Not lying at all - Sleaze Sanders et al. just fessed up to shipping MILLIONS of these defective parts (you can do the math to get the Million+ figure !!)-

According to the German AMD PR manager Jan Guetter only "less than a fraction of a percent" of all processors (K6-2, Duron and Athlon family) are affected. Everyone who has bought a faulty processor, can get a free replacement from AMD. They have also changed their testing procedure, so that they can detect this error in advance.
