folks, don't be so pessimic, there is light in the tunnel. 5 reasons: 1. fed cut rates 6 times, 275 basis points cut maybe another cut August 21. This is deemed very very aggressive easing monetary in uS history as technologies fed deemed fast liqudating inventory and /or overbuilt last year. 2. As a result of item 1, money supply both M2 and M3 grow above 14% fast in 10 years. GDP=MV M increased at fast pace, so is GDP so is Companies earnings so is p/e ration etc.. 3. Energy cost dropped substatintially from $35 to recent 25-25, this would boost earning margins, too. 4. restructureing fasting would help companies new demand new production and new inventory. 5 prices have reached the nearbottom like NT.TSE a very good example. very good value level. 6. technology is not fizzing out at all, it was just a retrencing, 1998-99-2000 boom will resume after this run of retrenching. 7 there is no inflation problems at in the us economy systems, long term rates near 5.53% and gold below $270 us an oz. 8. Tse 300 index 7500 look strong support 9. Yahohohohohohohohohoho is very alive. 10. market only one way to go that is up up, and UP and Up... go figure. long term is still the best strategy, just watch me, Mr. John Paquet's grand slam home run when NT.TSE hit above $18.00 and trading at $20.00 Canadian.
