Check that, looking good now that the Aug 35s are bought back. Will watch with the thread to go covered again after a near term spike. Is anyone getting whiplash watching this market?

Good morning Thomas,

It's tough for any reader who is not keeping up with the exact details of your transactions to understand what's happening with your situation -- especially those who may have just joined us since last Thursday.

The posters here will usually include a little supporting information in each post to help keep the reader oriented. In general we are trying to project or review our actions such that the entire group can vicariously watch and learn (easy Id...) from each person's successes or failures. And don't forget, some of us Dummies, including me, really are beginner/intermediates so we may not just, "Get It". :)

As you note in your, "Thanks for the advice out there," we are indeed working together. By contrast, we're certainly not a 60MPH trader chat thread -- even our occasional gab fests often have an introspective component to them.

Just a couple of simple things will be helpful like:

Name of the company?
Was this a loss or a gain -- how much/share?
A simple postmortum on lessons learned -- perhaps something like:
-Did I plan for this outcome?
-What might I do differently in the future?
-Why did I trade rather than relaxing and waiting for more of the time premium to expire over the next two or three weeks?

IMO, I think everyone will get more punch from your experiences this way.

Sorry for going on so long but I've been swept away by this urge to write a manifesto. :o)

Best regards,
