Listening to three of four volumes of a Book on Tape confident that Vol 4 will be in before you need it because it was due on July 16 but it doesn't show up and doesn't show up and the librarian finally tells you she thinks the woman who has it out took it away with her on vacation. Well, you could give your guests a picture of cherry tomatoes and tell them that's what their salad would have looked like if they'd come next week.
