Yeah all good companies, but wait them out. The buy points were much lower than right here today last time these started falling.

Hey did you catch the Bear Stearns BS that they pumped out to CNBS a little bit ago? About the telecom sector, and telecom equip.
Made a big todo about a midday call that for no turnaround till mid 2002. Market took a big step down right after Abbott Costello ran his mouth. Man is this game getting crooked.

You'd think these brokers had a serious reputation problem that needed emergency repairs. Yet they seem instead to be running their scams even harder now.

Larry, I don't really follow either ALL or AFL, but I do consider both to be solid companies. Ever look at AIG or ACE?

Hey Larry,

On the insurance stocks (and some other real good old school non tech companies), watch OUT. The brokers have guided a lot of people into these 'safe' places and high prices. And they aren't going to be immune to the economy slowdown no matter what the broker says. When and IF tech turns or bottoms, money is going to be pouring out of these stable non-tech companies. Companies, which to complicate matters, will just be getting hit by the economy as they will be the last in line to feel slowdowns.
