Greenagle also repeated that the Hamsters would NOT be introduced UNTIL the SECOND HALF of 2002.

Looks like AMD plans to build up a lot of STOCKPILED INVENTORY to meet that huge demand a year+ from now !

Dan, I think you've misunderstood the report. I believe the officially published release dates are 1H 2002 for 0.13 micron, 2H 2002 for 0.13 micron SOI and hammer.

I doubt any significant volume will be showing up before Q1 of 2001.

...and now I have confirmation of your relative state of confusion...
