"NEWS FLASH! Enginear finds school prayer eliminates divorce and promotes procreation. "

World renowned enginear Thomas "Snitch" Watson published claims today that say that prayer in public schools will eliminate divorce later in life and promote childbirth that will prevent the extinction of the species. Watson states, on the other hand, that his studies show that those who do not engage in school prayer will likely become extinct. The news has caused such a run on churches that many religious institutions are requiring appointments to attend services. Parochial schools have already greatly increased tuition and are building protective fences to keep crazed parents from storming administrative offices demanding admission for their children.... Mr. Watson will be holding a news conference on all networks tonight at 8 PM!!

"When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

6 But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. " Mathew 6,5-6

It seems like you Christians can never seem to remember this passage where Christ specifically tells you not to pray in public. Are you going against his word?
