On a more reflective note. What happened in the six month's of eight years ago. Were things a lot hotter in Reno or Waco.

By July 1993, Attorney General Janet Reno had already barbecued 80 Branch Davidians at Waco, first lady Hillary Clinton had fired the White House Travel Office and illegally pressured the FBI to investigate its chief, Billy Dale, and the Clintons' Whitewater lawyer Vince Foster had been found shot to death in a remote Virginia park.

Within months Troopergate would erupt - compelling Paula Jones to file the sexual harassment case that would culminate in the exposure of Clinton's affair with Monica Lewsinky, not to mention charges of sexual assault from Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick. It all ended in the first impeachment of an elected president in American history.

Those were the days.
