When you encounter this kind of one-day sentiment shift that bring you overnight returns in stocks like LLTC and MXIM amounting to 2 to 3x your annual CD returns, are you ever tempted to temporarily suspend your LT "ratchet down" buy program and simply take profits? You could always reinstate buys at 37.5, rather than wait for 35.
