Anon: I've become a trader in this stock rather than an investor... Yup. I believe SI even had a recent 'article' to this effect. That is, the market is now, from a psychological standpoint, in a third phase. By that they meant that during the mania phase the over-arching philosophy was buy heavy on all dips and ride the momo. Then, when it all fell apart the philosophy became sell into all rallies and ride hard the downside momo. Now that the downside momo is beginning to peter out the current philosophy is "play the range." First determine the range of the equity of interest. Wait for it to fall to the low end then buy it and sell it at the top end of the range. And if you've the courage short at range top to ride it back down. I just started to truly track LU so haven't done the range "thang" until now. I HAVE been doing this with other equities, however. And from the way a fair percentage of equities (and the market for that matter) have been acting I'd say you and I are not alone in this strategy. Which probably means it's time to think about adjusting it? ;-) John~
