You know if the question ultimately becomes that no responsibility is taken for firearms, then no firearms will be the solution. Banishment is on the table and will win over anarchy, I'll bet my marlin on it! Pretty funny. Responsible firearm owners are now "anarchists" because they oppose inspections. The NRA is the only group promoting gun safety, unless you'd want to add the military and police. You could have a full day after PETA got their inspection of your pets (just the responsible pet "guardians" get this honor), NOW chechs the wife for bruises, the FBI scans your hard-drive, and the doc checks your prostrate. (I left out the auto check because it might make sense). By then you'd realize it was only YOUR freedoms that were affected and that you'd traded them for that elusive idea of safety. By definition criminals are the anarchists, not guys like you, me and Jeff.
