I think we bottomed in April, but I believe tech will meander for some years to come, there after, 7% to 10% gains/year will become common place for the averages, unless of course something comes along as a sea change. I'm basing my thinking on the technology that we have now and the lack of the next big thing to act as a catalyst, not on consumers or corp. spending. Those two spending groups you mentioned will be the key to us slipping into recession or not and how long it will last if it does happen but over all it comes back to the necessity of owning or buying new technology. In other words, the gizmo level is at a pretty high level in sophistication and penetration at the present time, so we have to wait for something innovative to come along or the further maturation of the net as I mention in my other post to you.
