Thanks Jeff, yes I've heard the same thing related to U.S. seniors making the trip to Canada to buy their prescription medicine. But really, I don't know anything at all.

Jef,
I watched a documentary about 1 1/2 years ago, I believe was produced by 20/20. Showcased cross border drug shopping. A chartered greyhound bus rounded up American seniors in northern US States and took them to Ontario. Upon arrival, the seniors presented their litany of prescriptions to a nameless Canadian doctor who then , I believe, created a Canadian prescription (?) and then they headed off to a pharmacy. Apparently, the seniors did this for social reasons and saved bundle$ on their long list of prescribed drugs.
