Why he was elected the board of directors and officially is working with
Serge on strategy?
to get along with BOD
why?, b/c Serge is 65 , and will retire in 12-18 months
and he may jump as CEO if BOD likes him
the one whom he substituted was French!!!!
BTW, we all know that telecom space will pause over untill the next year, so all your traditional bushing od ALA and your theory
is worthless

from press: Prabhu was in talks for leading positions at Lucent and Nortel last year, but Alcatel's Chief Executive Serge Tchuruk convinced
him to stay, according to industry sources.

``The Street loves him. They would like to see him anywhere,'' one banker said.

well guess what Serge has promised him, for staying around in Dallas, and being on the board and advising him?
and then Prabhu said he may come back.
it is claar for me that 65 old Serge has promised him CEO in 12-18months.
this makes much more sense to me then your typical negativism to compatitor Mr. Siemens.
BTW, how is wirelss in Europe doing?
Looks like 3G hype is gone.
