Sounds like the Sircam virus, which picks up a random doument and emails it to any email addresses it can find on the system. All the major virus web sites have alerts and fixes for this.

Not usually a big deal but can b an embarrassment depending on which file it picked to forward on. Plus some of your contacts may have become infected from receiving this from you.
