Fed says adds reserves via overnight repos
NEW YORK, July 26 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on Thursday it was adding temporary reserves to the banking system through a round of overnight fixed system repurchase agreements.

Earlier, the Fed added $2.0 billion in reserves through 28-day repos and accepted the following collateral:

-- $0.040 billion in Treasuries, stop out 3.69 percent,
-- $0.735 billion in agencies, stop out 3.75 percent,
-- $1.225 billion in MBS, stop out 3.76 percent.
In morning dealings, federal funds were trading at 3.81 percent, according to Garban-Intercapital, above the Fed's 3.75 percent target for the rate.
