it is easier to do now, for there is more information available I can see that. When last I went to the track, they didn't have a Track Equalization Chart. I just used hearsay and some general grouping of tracks. And times were in fifths. This is fascinating. Thanks for sharing it with me. When I started handicapping, I was using some precursor to the Daily Racing Form, the name of which I no longer remember. I'm not inside the sauna ... not naked sitting outside in the shade I'm with you. I lobbied briefly at the start of the thread for steam rather than sauna, then went outside and sat in the shade, as well. It's incomprehensible to me why people subject themselves to saunas. Karen
