The LWP being X and me? Cool. Just for amusement, I did the old "day in a life" exercise with JLA. I would guess maybe 50% of JLA's output in the 80-odd posts the profile turns up are clearly direct insults, I wouldn't want to try and estimate what fraction had any substance behind them. Not totally bad as a percent, but considering the relatively brief time, I'd guess JLA rates as the current SI insult champ on an insult posting rate basis. You can always say "he was provoked", but then there's that popular righteous right mantra of people being responsible for their own actions. I left in the date and time for the first and last posts just to fix the interval, it wasn't really worth editing the rest but I did it for brevity anyway. It's nice to know that flapjack and I aren't alone, JLA doesn't seem to have much trouble finding other people to insult. Of course, with the 50 % or of the populaton out there who didn't find W to their tastes in the last election, that isn't really a surprise. Subject:PRESIDENT GEORGE W.
