8:33AM Economic Data : Q2 GDP rose 0.7% vs consensus of 0.9%; Q1 was revised to 1.3% from 1.2%. Final sales also rose at a 0.7% pace in Q2, indicating that the weakness was not tied to inventory drawdowns, as was the case in Q1. The deflator rose 2.3% vs the 2.4% consensus. Bottom line: a bit weaker than expected and closer to the recession mark, but no big surprises. Futures mixed; S&P unchanged after data, while Nasdaq futures move to +10 from +20.
