Re <<You're falling into the "evenhandedness" trap>>

You call it a trap, I call it a bitter fact which most people in Israel do not want to recognize. It the other guys fault.

Re <<Sharon doesn't need a war. He is Prime Minister and would prefer to leave a legacy of peace>>

You have got to be kidding me. Sharon is a thug and a murderer. Same category as Saddam Hussein, Arafat and Milosovich. History will remember him as such. Finally the word and the media is calling his BS and seeing him for what he really is.

Re <<When Jewish settlers killed an Arab baby last week, the Prime Minister condemned the killings>>

Just a game, many people in Israel also consider him a hero. If Sharon cared about human life and he was serious about peace, he would first stop expanding the settlement. Oh I forgot, they have a god given right to that land.

You guys can pad each other in the back on this thread all you want, I will no longer disturb your fantasy.

Mani

Israelis built a memorial around the grave of Baruch Goldstein, with "rich ornamentation around the site, including benches, floor tiles, and a water fountain." After a number of years, the courts debated whether it should be dismantled. As if the ethics of this disgusting bloodlust should be debated.

Not all Israeli terrorists are not glorified in such a manner. Some are voted into office as leader of the country of Israel, such as Menachim Begin and Yitzak Shamir.
