JDSU report is not going to help, I think, and AMGN will hurt the BTs. OTOH, QCOM and LSI doing well so I may be scrambling soon as KLAC and NVLS are both up in AH. SCs took off today on Robbie Stephens conference + comments by NSM and CY - afforded another chance to short KLAC @ 51.5, but I passed as I want to see what happens tomorrow AM. Still have NVLS short on, but it's close to cover point. Still see lower 40's for both of these, but if market doesn't agree, I'll be gone - or long. The SC rally smacks of "I hope the worst is over" buying. CYTO's trading indictors went green and I reentered a 1/2 position @4.1 late in day - not completely confident as it may just be rising with the markets. Also took nibbles of PARS @3.6 and AKLM @ 4.07 for the same rationale. Sold a small part of MOVI for >5 points - volume was lower than yesterday and a pull back may start from here. If I'm wrong, so be it. Profit is good, and I need to take some when offered - I failed to do that quickly enough on STEM and ASTM earlier this week. LVLT still on board, late shake had me wondering, but feels like something is coming and MM needed shares as the bottom dropped out in about 10 min and then it recovered in about as many - a true V, down 5% to take out stops. Hope to get some research done tonight - past couple have had other things on the calendar and no time to really study. New books arrived from Traders Library sale and will review anything really good - first up is The Ultimate Trading Guide by J. Hill, G. Pruitt and L. Hill. Anyone else read it? BTW, for any lurkers (Ken, I know you know of TL): Traders Library is an excellent resource and has incredible sales from time to time - this text is normally ~$70 (amazon has it for ~$49); I got it for $20 plus free shipping. Check them out at traderslibrary.com and sign up for email alerts of sales. One notice per week plus a w/e reminder and they don't sell your address so you don't get flooded.
