I don't disapprove of animal cruelty laws in general. I guess its possible I might disagree with some specific animal cruelty laws but I don't disagree with the general idea. I would however disagree with locking people up for writing down detailed fantasies about how they where going to abuse animals in their private journals.

Spend enough time fantasizing about it, eventually you start doing it.

That may be true about a lot of crimes but I don't think we should try to turn in to the thought police.
