Zeev,

Not quite sure i get this. There were 100 managemnent presentations at the Robbie Stephens semiconductor conference. NSM and CYMI apparently squeaked out something that could be interpreted as positive. Yet:

cbs.marketwatch.com

The entire chip sector stepped higher on reports of comments made by National Semiconductor and Cypress Semiconductor during an investors conference.

According to Briefing.com, Cypress said it is seeing an uptick in business from application service providers and National Semi is seeing better turns business as orders improve from Motorola. Turns are customer orders requested for delivery during the same quarter.

Jeff Weir, director of public relations for National Semi, said the company did make a presentation today, but that it hasn't changed its financial targets for the current quarter, which ends in one month. He could not confirm if the company is experiencing better turns as a result of orders from Motorola.

A Cypress executive was not immediately available for comment to CBS.MarketWatch.

LOL! Wonder if they mentioned what margin went along with that "uptick". Is this a Robbie Stephen's publicity pump?
