Would be interesting if Justice Dept. puts a halt to XP's upcoming release date.

Not a chance. At most they could get changes to it before the release but holding it back -- you can forget about that.

The State Attorneys are politicians above all else. That would not be a good move in this bad economy and they know it.

The DOJ is not interested in that anyways under Bush. IMHO, they are just going along with the State AGs to try and work out a deal with MSFT.

You might see challenges from others but it won't be the government---in this economic environment.
