Heinz- Can you explain the logic to me....that CNBS seems to love to "spread"...that a weaker dollar will be good for the U.S. stock market?

(Of course, I know how lower dollar can help multis improved translated earnings...but short-term, it often can't help (they are hedged), but also many tech companies generate a majority of earnings in U.S. anyway)..

But the weaker dollar is gonna lead to less attactive return for foreign investors in US markets, so net/net, weaker dollar seems like a loser (for US markets), especially given the crappy growth environment (and differential w/other countries)...

What am I missing here? (if anything)
