"Gore gals."???? "Gore gals." LOL!!!
Did he stay up late thinking that up???"

No actually Karen stayed up late at night imagining I called here a Gore Gal. I never called her a "Gore Gal" at any time. I think it made her angry that I did not.

A "for the record" clarification from Karen herself #reply-16077703 on this important topic, with a reply to help jog dormant memory cells.

With AJ, it's hard to tell. Actually, he is known to have moments of lucidity, IMO. I hasten to add "IMO" because there are those who would not agree with me. He definitely has either a world-class memory or a mega data base.

And, just to be sure that AJ doesn't get too maudlin about me--I still think Elian belongs with his father.

Well, what ever. This is all kind of typical. A casual unintended slur becomes national news when it implies something about the left wing extremes. And the right wingers get up on their tip toes for the action. No wonder it is so easy for the left wingers to intimidate you guys. Nonextremists would simply shrug it off. Obviously Kholt did, at least initially. Getting some mileage now, I see.

I am the constant recipient of referals to my "home" on the RWET, which I have posted on less than one hand full of days as far as I can remember, but don't find the association offensive. I don't really care. At the same time, I criticized the RWETers for making a big deal out of being called a "bleeding heart liberal" and pestered them unmercifully over it. People who know me personally in my daily life do not make the assumption that I am of a right wing nature. My life history paints the picture of a left wing radical and people who know me from work call me the "mellowest" guy they know. Its different though, the people I associate with on a daily basis don't get off on out right lieing to see what kind of reaction they can provoke. I have never voted Republican if that means anything. The last time I registered, it was as a Democrat. I have been flirting with the idea of Libertarian next time but haven't made a decision. However, living and thinking isn't what these politico threads are about, it seems more about encampment.
