He then commented on Cingular and that their GSM properties were migrating through GPRS but (despite their announced path) he felt that they would/should/could consider 1x for their (11) TDMA properties. All this in the context of response to question on 1x overlay progress for IS-136 TDMA. That is a paraphrase ... and my take was that Qualcomm still considers Cingular a potential prospect. This was not said glibly like they were in the bag by any means. - Eric -
