Vendit, thanks for responding. I'm not sure I can be clear about what I am asking. I guess my question lies in the area of 'linear regression' and what does that mean. I don't see what this picture tells the viewer other than there is a downward, curved slope to the current price development. What is the advantage to this over a standard two-line channel drawing? Does the slope purportedly tell the viewer something the standard 'channel' lines don't? The curvature? OK, but I don't see the benefit, seriously. (And, of course, I don't know what 'linear regression' actually means. Yes, mathematically challenged.)
