Vendit, when I first started following your thread I read through most of the links. Didn't read Aschelis' book. I did just now and that explanation for linear regression channel is the 'standard' straight line channel. (Got an 'oops' error message from one of the 'StockChart' links.)

So I guess I am puzzled by your use of the curved lines. I seem to recall reading somewhere that curved regression lines are more predictive but I'm not sure about that. Honestly don't see the benefit of the curved lines. In fact I think the 'bending' slope is potentially more misleading than not but I am a novice. So I'm just curious as to why you are using the curved lines. And, I am surprised (confused by) that the math world gives two different 'types' or 'forms' but uses the same name or label.

But enough of this. I appreciate your time and apologize for belabouring the issue(s). Thank you.

David
