Cultural diversity as I understand it, I will say yet again, is NOT the fact of a diverse population, but the attempt to appreciate cultural diversity. You wish to call "cultural diversity" the raison d'etre for acts of violence perpetrated by people of color. Which means, I guess, that white crime is not part of that. That's a very sad meaning for cultural diversity and not one I buy into. There are plenty of white rapists in Orange County, btw. And I'd bet there are plenty of white gangs- especially if you include white biker gangs like the Hell's Angels- plenty of violence and criminal activity from those folks. I know that for a fact. The only time my father was assaulted in Orange County it was by a white guy with a rifle. Should I conclude something from that? Perhaps I should have interviewed him about his ties with the confederate flag and the South. I might have been able to draw some interesting inferences from that. Diverse populations create us and them mentalities, and you are proof of that. Just as many many other people are. You are not unique JF. I don't believe I ever suggested you were. I was merely disappointed.
