The Ten Commandments are moral principles and several are the law of the land. The Ten Commandments are from the Jewish faith and are also a part of every Christian ideology, also Islam. But I think that knowing the moral principles that are common to 99% of all religious folks and I'd suspect that the majority of atheists would also agree with all as ethical as they deal with men and not God. I consider knowing what an overwhelming majority of the American consider golden rules is just good civics. If one is ignorant of this how does one judge history and other cultures. How can one come to understand what others are saying if one does not understand what there beliefs are. Ignorance is fear hate and treading badly. All uses of references to Hilter that you use are absurd. No-one of forcing anyone to do anything accept those on the side of you cannot do what you want to do. Not allowing local people in a community to come up with their own ways based of a good faith belief that they understand what being an American is is Hitler like fear propaganda that restricts freedom prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech. you argue prior restraint. tom watson tosiwmee
