you say "I'm not sure that this country's "cowboy mentality" will be reversed in my lifetime."

Now the 85 black victims in just the last couple of months in Cincinatti who were shot by blacks. Are the shooter's black cowboys??? You figure they are members of the NRA.

It is my opinion that we need much more gun regulation in this country, not less. The solution.

Adult is with felons etc excluded.

1. Every Adult should take NRA approved training and safe handling courses on guns.

2. Every Adult should be required to take a NRA to be developed course on the safety advantages of owning a gun and the extreme risks of not owning a gun.

3. At the end of training all adult have 90 days to acquire a meeting NRA specs gun or be assigned to 100 hours of community service per year in a designated inner city for the rest of their natural life to the age of 55.

It also is discouraging to read that GWB doesn't have the backbone to stand up to the NRA.
Has it crossed that mind of yours (statements like this make me think it's a really short trip) that he may actually believe more gun regulation is not needed or good?

Gratuitous insults do not improve your credibility.
