Gottfried, The HP warning was particularly ugly. While their stock took a little hit, the news didn't appear to impact the market much today. Perhaps tomorrow. <g> Speaking of job cuts, I just noticed additional news out of Fujitsu: "Fujitsu says considers several thousand job cuts" biz.yahoo.com and from another news story: "Fujitsu lowered its semiconductor capital expenditure target for this business year to 140 billion yen from an originally planned 190 billion yen for this business year. It was down 28.9 percent from actual spending a year ago." biz.yahoo.com AdvocateDevil
