Gus, Have had time to listen to only a few cc so far. I am impressed on the surface by how well storage networking is doing overall in comparison to other tech sectors. The professional services $$ have done especially well, the growth in service revenue $$ has been impressive, whether it is IBMGS, VRTS, EMC, EDS, SUNWps, MCDT, INRG providing the service; The corporations with critical data don't appear to mind spending $$ for help. Look how well these service $$ are doing in comparison to the SSP, who probably hoped to catch some of these $$ instead. The bottom line seems to be that they will outsource the expertise to set up and manage their data, but they WILL NOT move the data itself. At least not yet. The big corps seem to prefer the companies they have dealt with in the past for critical data infrastructure, ie., IBMGS, MCDT, INRG, EMC, EDS rather than take a flyer on CMNT, STOR etc. Those that have, get more service $$.
