The proximate cause was that at a tech conference, National Semiconductor (NSM) said that its wireless orders had picked up a bit. It most likely is true. The order books for a lot of these companies have gone to zero, so if they get a couple of orders, that's not surprising. But what it does not indicate is that anything is going to get meaningfully better>> end quote
