Again it looks like an exciting Friday afternoon, because of news from America. Few minutes ago the gross domestic product for the second quarter was announced: its only plus 0.7%, after plus 1,3% in Q1. The estimates were higher. According to the American Ministry of Trade this is the smallest increase since the beginning of 1993. It remains to be seen, how the US markets react to it, the Nasdaq Future still singals a friendly start at the computer stock exchange. - Europe stock markets favour Alcatel, Nokia and Ericsson. All three book gains between 5,5 and 6,5%. - Our DAX is up 1% at 5.733 points, due to the Siemens family as well as Schering and Telekom, that are all up between three and well four %. The Nemax 50 adds 4.4%, Nemax ALL share 2,8. The euro costs 87 cent 85, the dollar two Marks of 22 65. The bund future can afford ten Upticks to107,95. Margit Siller, B 5 stock exchange.
