Take a look at the ADX/DMI chart.

The ADX line is at the historic low. I've gone back
years. The advance line is at 14 and 9 is the historic
low.

There's nowhere to go, the bollinger bands are tightening,
and the 2 short term trend lines are nearly converged.

I see a move within days although I suppose the lines could
all converge and just flat line.
