In the reverse, this slippery slope down to the bottom feels like the ride up the bubble only more compressed. I recall the ever-greater "tops" kept us feeling greedy as "we" suspended disbelief. The bottom will of course catch wall steet/main street by surprise, wishing they got in after the bus is gone. If a timing model can give me a seat on the bus I find comfort in that, because I am not smart enough to call a turn in the markets.
