so the reported 22 cents INCLUDED the 7 cent globalstar writedown?

I believe that the 7 cent globalstar loss represents the loss for the entire year and not just the quarter.

Q stated that the 7 cent figure should diminish substantially next year....they are moving personnel from Globalstar to other divisions.

As was pointed out in an earlier post the 7 cents loss on G* was for the full year. Also, it is not an investment loss, it is an operating loss.

It is the difference between cash revenues collected from G* in the quarter and the expenses assigned to the G* division. This is why it is being included as an offset to operating profits and the proforma numbers.

Hope this is clear.
