Doesn't anybody on this thread own/use a Palm M500 or M505? Palm really got hurt as it entered the launch of these two devices with a significant inventory of earlier generation models. I noticed this remark... Inventory and related costs of $268.9 million relating to the write-off of components, work-in-process, and finished goods not expected to be used or sold. On May 17, the company said that this charge would be approximately $300 million. ...on the latest earnings report. The older generation Palm devices have come down dramatically in price. What we could use now is a sub-$100 M100 with an SD slot. That would be an attractive package. palm.com Aus
