Al Re..Lame defense for the indifensible on both sides.

There is nothing indefensible about an affair. Hell, at my age, I would be happy as hell with a blow job, with or without her teeth. Its what they did afterward which is the problem, and I have a problem with the sexual harassment laws which Gary and Bill helped pass, which they break at every opportunity.

They took action that was pro-consumer,

Yeah, right. It wasn't pro consumer as much as it was pro-AL that the reserves were emptied.

Isn't it interesting that we develop a "shortage" just as a new Republican administration <<<<<

You appear to be about 1 yr. behind the times. The shortage happened during the summer of 2000, before the election, and the prices at the pump have already dropped to around 1.50 by now. Just 6 months after GW started drilling to increase supplies which in turn lowered prices. You ought to get out of the house more, and keep up.

Give me a break, even if that was true (and clearly it is not) it is irresponsible (and shady) to pronounce it on TV. <<<<<

Huh, since when has it become irresponsible to tell the truth on TV. You dems ought to try it once in a while. You can start with Gary.

And each of the affairs appear to have been solitary deals, whereas Bill and Gary engaged in multiple affairs.
Lame defense for the indifensible [sic] on both sides.

Is THAT it? You sort of missed the point, I think. To suggest there is any similarity between the kinds of abused doled out by Clinton versus affairs by Gingrich, Hyde, and perhaps some others is simply disingenuous.

Clinton was engaged in unwanted sexual attacks on various women, including one that was nothing short of rape, and one or more that constituted clear criminal sexual harrassment followed by perjury.

These other men were engaged in extramarital affairs.

Certainly, you can acknowledge there is no similarity between these offenses. If you cannot, your yellow-dog blood is obstructing your view....
