Intel was pleased that they pumped 5 million units into one of their channel partners.

A statement just as well founded as your blithering that AMD pumped units into their channel partners.

Paul - Re:"AMD was pleased that they pumped 1.2 Million units into one of their channel partners - just to make that pyrrhic victory."

AMD may have stuffed as many as 2 million processors into June. At the CC Jerry said that 50% of the units were sold in the last month. That is about 2 million units above a linear rate during the quarter.

It probably took more than 1 partner to swallow that many parts.
