Interbrand's annual measure of the world's most valuable brands is out.

The good news is that Intel comes in at #6, behind Coca-cola, Microsoft, IBM, GE, and Nokia. The bad news is that Intel's brand name declined in value by about $5 billion over the past year. As a percent of market cap Intel's brand value is 9%.

edit: BTW, note that AMD doesn't appear anywhere on the list. When someone talks about the relative book value multiples of AMD and Intel, it is important to note that one of the very rational reasons why Intel has a high book value multiple than AMD is because the Intel brand name has value, and that is not reflected in the book value.
